Big LotS Survey, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is a discount store founded by Sol Schenk in 1967. He founded Consolidated International because he loves doing the auto parts and vehicle business. The Odd Lot/Large Lot Settlement Chain, now widely known as BigLots, started in 1982.
Over the years these shops have been called Big Lot, Odd Lot, Mac Frugal Bargain, Closure, and Pic 'N' Stock. Currently Big Lot has 1,400 stores in 47 states. Each store has a slightly different selection of items
